Scientific R&D and consulting for preclinical data infrastructure.

Neuronautix builds the methods, the tools, and the metadata layer that turn fragmented preclinical data into reusable scientific knowledge. We deliver across three pillars: consulting on Home-Cage Monitoring and FAIR data, R&D co-development of new algorithms with academic partners (CNRS/LIRMM), and products derived from our open-source stack.

Positioning

Three pillars — consulting, R&D, and products

Neuronautix is structured around three complementary activities. Consulting brings independent expertise into your lab. R&D co-development invents new algorithms and methods with academic and industry partners. Products package mature open-source research into deployable offerings.

Pillar 1 · Consulting

Scientific consulting

Independent guidance on Home-Cage Monitoring system selection, behavioral and physiological analysis, FAIR metadata strategy, and reproducible pipelines — grounded in 15 years of bench experience.

Pillar 2 · R&D

R&D co-development

We develop new methods, not only analyse data: ontology-constrained LLM navigation, multi-agent scientific reasoning, and neuro-AI / stat-AI embedding methods for preclinical knowledge generation. Lead academic partner: Dr. Konstantin Todorov (CNRS/LIRMM).

Pillar 3 · Products

Productized open source

Local-RAG knowledge stacks for startups and biotech (FounderGraph-Lab style), FAIR Virtual Control Group reports, and HCMO/MBO ontology support contracts for HCM technology vendors.

HCM expertise

Home-Cage Monitoring Expertise

Home-Cage Monitoring is becoming essential for modern preclinical neuroscience, but choosing the right system is difficult. Each platform differs in behavioral resolution, sensors, data structure, analysis possibilities, animal welfare impact, cost, scalability, and compatibility with existing workflows.

Neuronautix helps laboratories navigate this complexity with independent scientific guidance to compare and implement HCM solutions, including commercial systems, DIY platforms, video-based tracking, sensor-based monitoring, physiological recordings, and multimodal approaches.

Analysis pipelines

From raw data to publication-ready results

Neuronautix builds reproducible data workflows for behavioral and physiological datasets. We help transform raw recordings, tracking outputs, sensor data, and metadata tables into clean, interpretable, and publication-ready results.

  • Behavioral tracking analysis
  • Home-Cage Monitoring analytics
  • ECG and HRV analysis
  • Circadian and longitudinal activity metrics
  • Multimodal data alignment
  • Custom Python workflows
  • Publication-ready figures and reports

Metadata and FAIR data

Metadata Management & FAIR Data Consulting

High-quality preclinical research depends not only on good experiments, but also on well-structured metadata. Critical information about animals, groups, procedures, devices, housing conditions, timelines, files, and analysis decisions is often fragmented across notebooks, spreadsheets, local folders, and institutional systems.

Neuronautix helps research teams design practical metadata workflows aligned with FAIR principles, data traceability, reusable datasets, and documentation that supports reproducibility, collaboration, and long-term reuse.

  • FAIR data strategy for preclinical research
  • Metadata schema design
  • Experimental subject and cohort tracking
  • Dataset documentation and provenance
  • Ontology-aware metadata structuring
  • Preparation for data reuse, sharing, and interoperability
